Valognes has preserved several mansions dating from the 17th and 18th centuries, vestiges of its aristocratic past. Stroll through its quiet streets, admire the Place Général de Gaulle, and visit the regional cider museum, housed in a former convent. Here, you’ll discover the cider-making traditions of the Cotentin region, with ancient tools and tastings. The town is also home to a Calvados museum for lovers of local specialties.
