Is it better to camp in Valognes or directly on the coast?

Both have their charm. Our Les Bosquets campsite is located on the edge of Carteret beach. Being close to Valognes, you can combine heritage, markets and coastline, without being limited to a single environment.

Can I get to Valognes by train?

Yes, absolutely. Valognes has its own SNCF train station. It is located on the major Paris-Caen-Cherbourg axis. Departure is exclusively from Gare Saint-Lazare. This is the Intercités line to Cherbourg.

Are dogs allowed on the campsite?

Your four-legged friend is welcome at Les Bosquets. They must be leashed, vaccinated and chipped.

What are the opening dates and prices?

Camping Les Bosquets is open from April 1 to October 10, 2026. Reservations for the season open on January 15. You can choose between mobile home rentals (2 or 3 bedrooms, from €200/week) and bare pitches for tents, caravans or motorhomes (from €13.20/night/person).

Are there service terminals for motorhomes?

Yes. Camping Les Bosquets offers a motorhome package including 2 people and electricity, as well as an on-site service area. There are 15 dedicated pitches, with electricity included.
