A little further north, the beach at Gouville-sur-Mer is one of the most emblematic in La Manche, renowned for its colorfully-roofed cabins and unspoiled dunes facing the Sénéquet lighthouse. The beach at Annoville, meanwhile, offers an even wilder setting: listed dunes, a vast expanse of sand and some of the most beautiful sunsets in the département.
From this coastline, there’s no shortage of activities: sand yachting, catamarans, windsurfing, kayaking and paddle boarding. Several water sports centers offer introductory courses and rentals just a stone’s throw from the beaches.
